Malcolm is a specialist in Health Informatics with over 25 years of experience, including more than 20 years in commercialising clinical products. He is an adjunct Professor in Digital Health at the University of Sydney, and provides advisory services to health companies for product development and go-to-market strategies. Malcolm was previously the CMO and co-founder of Alcidion Group, an ASX-listed Health IT company. A component of his role at Alcidion was leading R&D efforts in real-time clinical decision support, real-time natural language processing (NLP) for intelligent clinical noting, predictive models, and knowledge-based systems. In this course Malcolm will be providing a deep-dive case study into Generative AI and its application in healthcare.
