Clinical Associate Professor Pankaj Taneja is Head of Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine, and Dentomaxillofacial Radiology at Sydney Dental Hospital and the University of Sydney. He completed his dental training in the UK, followed by advanced clinical and academic appointments in the UK and Denmark, before moving to Australia. Holding specialist qualifications in Oral Surgery and a PhD, A/Prof. Taneja has extensive international experience in surgical practice, education, and research. His clinical expertise covers complex oral surgery, oral medicine, facial pain, and dentomaxillofacial radiology, with a strong focus on integrating evidence-based practice into patient care. Widely published and an experienced course facilitator, he is committed to advancing clinical training and supporting practitioners in developing confidence and precision in oral surgical procedures.
