Dr Morris Rapaport BDS MDSc FICD Morris gained his dental and orthodontic qualifications at the University of Sydney and has practised as a specialist for over four decades. Simultaneously since graduating, he has been an educator, first as an undergraduate tutor and eventually as a part-time Senior Lecturer at both Sydney and Charles Sturt Universities. His main areas of interest have been the clinical use and theoretical underpinning of functional appliances and the development of occlusion, normal and abnormal, from birth, through the mixed dentition, to the end of the permanent dentition. He was an early adopter of clear aligner therapy and is part of the teaching faculty for Align Technology as well as a former member of their Asia Pacific Advisory Committee between 2014 and 2019. Morris regularly lectures throughout Australia and internationally, most recently giving a two-day masterclass to orthodontists in India.
