Conjoint Associate Professor Paul Wrigley has senior clinical, teaching and research appointments in Pain Medicine at the Royal North Shore Hospital, University of Sydney, NSW Health and the Faculty of Pain Medicine in Australia. He trained in Anaesthesia (1999) and Pain Medicine (2000) and has completed a basic science PhD in neuropharmacology (2007). He maintains an active translational clinical research program evaluating care pathways for people with pain. He established the Pain Management Network, Agency for Clinical Innovation, NSW Health (2010-) linking NSW pain services with NSW Health. This advocacy has led to greater community access to team-based pain management.
