Associate Professor Dan Thurley is the Academic Director of Sydney Health Executive Education, leading the short courses and micro credential courses for the Faculty of Medicine and Health at the University of Sydney. Dan is also a Director of Axis Health Co which supports the commercialisation and discovery of novel medicines and devices internationally. As a UK trained Consultant Physician (Pharmaceutical Medicine), Dan has worked clinically in the NHS (UK) and Royal North Shore Hospital (Sydney) in Medical Oncology for a number of years and is a Fellow of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine UK (FPM) and served as an examiner for the Diploma of Pharmaceutical Medicine (UK) for nearly a decade. Before joining USYD, Dan worked Internationally in the Pharmaceutical Industry as Global, Regional and Country Medical Director for 10 years at Roche in UK, Australia and Singapore.
