Using the website

I've forgotten my username / password.

Your username is your email address. If you are not logged in and need to retrieve your username or password, select Sign in from the menu followed by Forgot username? or Forgot password?

If you are still having issues logging in after attempting to retrieve your username or password please contact our team via email

I'd like to update my personal details

Once logged in select Manage my profile. You will have the opportunity to edit your profile as well as update your password.

I wish to enroll in a CPD course but the website is asking me to login or sign up (create a profile). Is there a fee?

You will need to login or sign up (create a profile) in order to be able to register in a CPD course. Creating a CPD profile is FREE.

Creating a profile you will be able to access a range of information, for example your CPD certificate, view your transactions and print receipts as well as view your CPD history.

How do I access my online courses?

CPD uses Canvas as our online learning platform. Upon registration, you will receive further information on how to access the platform.


I would like to propose and develop a new CPD course

Here at CPD, we are interested in new and innovative courses. If you are interested in either proposing or developing a new course for CPD, please get in contact with us via email [email protected] and we will discuss this with you

I would like to become a CPD educator or facilitator

Due to the effects of COVID-19, some scheduled courses may be delayed or restrict registrations to NSW residents only. Some courses may also be postponed or cancelled as local restrictions change.

Do I need any special software to participate in the webinar?

Online courses will be hosted using the ZoomTM application. Zoom is a free application, and will download automatically when you start or join your first Zoom meeting.

Detailed access information will be sent to you with your course reminder email.

I’ve registered for an online course, but I have not received a link to the webinar.

Course specific FAQs

How do I search for a course?

You can search for a course either by selecting a subject area from the drop-down “continuing education’ menu, a delivery mode or by entering a search ‘keyword’. Courses will be displayed in date order.

Must I make full payment at the time of registration?

Yes, full payment for any CPD courses must be made at the time of registration

Can I obtain structured CPD points for CPD course attendance?

Yes, participating in a CPD course will earn you structured CPD points. Please refer to the course registration page for the number of CPD points you are eligible for. CPD points will be awarded based on your attendance at the course.

What if I have a special dietary or accessibility requirement?

If you have a special dietary or accessibility requirement please notify us at the time of registration. We will do our best to cater for your requirements.

What if I don’t have all the equipment required for a practical workshop?

Not all workshops require you to bring your own equipment. For those that do, this is made very clear on the course page.

What happens if I am registered and unable to attend a course?

Please contact the CPD team immediately. Depending on the notice period given the below may apply:

  • You may be able to keep your credit on file to use for another CPD event within 12 months
  • A cancellation fee may apply.

Does CPD recommend accommodation near the CPD venue when travel is required?
